MPI_File_iread_shared - Nonblocking read using shared file
pointer
SYNOPSIS
C:
#include <mpi.h>
int MPI_File_iread_shared( fh, buf, count,
datatype, request )
MPI_File fh;
void *buf;
int count;
MPI_Datatype datatype;
MPIO_Request *request;
Fortran:
INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)
<type> buf(*)
INTEGER fh, count, datatype, request, ierror
CALL MPI_FILE_IREAD_SHARED(fh, buf, count, datatype,
request, ierror)
STANDARDS
This release implements the MPI 2.0 standard, as
documented by the MPI Forum in the July 1997 release of
MPI: A Message Passing Interface Standard.
DESCRIPTION
MPI_File_iread_shared is a nonblocking read using a shared
file pointer. This routine accepts the following
parameters:
fh file handle (handle)
buf initial address of buffer (choice)
count number of elements in buffer (nonnegative
integer)
datatype datatype of each buffer element (handle)
request request object (handle)
Fortran Programs
All MPI routines in Fortran (except for MPI_WTIME(3F) and
MPI_WTICK(3F)) have the additional argument ierror at the
the same meaning as the return value of the routine in C.
In Fortran, MPI routines are subroutines, and are invoked
with the CALL statement.
All MPI objects (such as MPI_Datatype(3) and MPI_Comm(3))
are of type INTEGER in Fortran.
