MPI_Group_compare - Compares two groups

SYNOPSIS

       C:

            #include <mpi.h>

            int MPI_Group_compare ( group1, group2, result )
            MPI_Group  group1;
            MPI_Group  group2;
            int       *result;

       C++:

            #include <mpi.h>

            static int Group::Compare(
            const Group&      group1,
            const Group&      group2)

       Fortran:

            INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)

            INTEGER group1, group2, result, ierror

            CALL MPI_GROUP_COMPARE(group1, group2, result, ierror)

STANDARDS

       This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as
       documented by the MPI Forum in the spring 1997 release of
       MPI: A Message Passing Interface Standard.

DESCRIPTION

       The MPI_Group_compare routine compares two groups. This
       routine accepts the following parameters:

       group1 Specifies the first group in the comparison
                 (handle)

       group2 Specifies the second group in the comparison
                 (handle)

       result Returns one of the following integers:

                    MPI_IDENT The order and members of the
                                   two groups are the same.

                    MPI_SIMILAR Only the members are the same.

                    ierror         Specifies the return code
                                   value for successful
                                   completion, which is in
                                   MPI_SUCCESS.  MPI_SUCCESS is
                                   defined in the mpif.h file.
