MPI_Cart_coords - Determines process coordinates in
       Cartesian topology, given the rank in the group

SYNOPSIS

       C:

            #include <mpi.h>

            int MPI_Cart_coords ( comm, rank, maxdims, coords )
            MPI_Comm  comm;
            int       rank;
            int       maxdims;
            int      *coords;

       C++:

            #include <mpi.h>

            void Cartcomm::Get_coords(
            int               rank,
            int               maxdims,
            int               coords[]) const

       Fortran:

            INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)

            INTEGER comm, rank, maxdims, coords(*),
            ierror

            CALL MPI_CART_COORDS(comm, rank, maxdims,
            coords(*), ierror)

STANDARDS

       This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as
       documented by the MPI Forum in the spring 1997 release of
       MPI: A Message Passing Interface Standard.

DESCRIPTION

       The MPI_Cart_coords routine determines process coordinates
       in Cartesian topology, given the rank in the group. This
       routine accepts the following parameters:

       comm Specifies a communicator with Cartesian
                      structure (handle)

       rank Specifies the rank of a process within the
                      group of comm (integer)

       maxdims Specifies the length of vector coordinates

       coords Returns an output integer array (of size
                      ndims from the MPI_Cart_create(3) routine)
                      that contains the Cartesian coordinates of
                      the specified process (integer)

       ierror Specifies the return code value for
                      successful completion, which is in
                      MPI_SUCCESS. MPI_SUCCESS is defined in the
                      mpif.h file.
