voiceasinstrument
elaboration: once upon a time, very long ago, i made nonsense of sense,
thinking with my fingers, as i do here, now, how and why the brief age of the
vocalist was. listening to sonny sharrock and nicky skopelitis at this
moment i am even more convinced that what i meant to say was that no one
writes for voice anymore, that the voice is no longer considered and
instrument for a composer of that low-culture kinda music. that we don't
_buy_ music anymore for its voice. probably wrong; does mariah carey
write her own stuff? alannis? beck?
warning: six-month-old port goes musty.
antinomy: i'd mail plato's republic to everybody in the fookin world if i
thought they'd make good philospher-kings.
mimicry: as for mssr. d'igou, esq., two words: "plus de souci."
erratum: did i say, "flattened?" i meant to say, "flattered."
query: you read triangle.forsale, too?
