Speaking of being on the christian tip, I have to put in a vote for DC
Talk's "Jesus Freak" as the song of the year. The video is hilarious,
"borrowing" all the Marilyn Manson and NIN anti-christ imagery (freaky
looking guys carrying crosses around and stuff) as well as the old film
footage of wars, mutilations and, ummmm, guys giving speeches. Plus, the
lyrics kill me: I mean, what could be more beautiful than christian guys
with a song called "Jesus Freak". Does anybody still use that term
anymore? Anyway, it rocks.
