Speaking of Rall, did anyone catch his essay in last week's Indy? It was
another case of their "Personal View" column being taken up with a
syndicated column, when it once was reserved for local writers. It still
amazes me that they don't give any info about the authors of those
pieces, even a short sentence like "Ted Rall is a syndicated political
cartoonist living in San Francisco" or something. They used to do that,
you know, when they ran columns that had been reprinted elsewhere. I
wonder if they have some sort of deal with the Association of
Alternative Leftertainment Weeklies to get that stuff at a discount.

Minor? Maybe, but it's another example of an attitude towards readers
(and what they need to know) that makes me less likely to trust the
Indy.

Although I have to say I enjoyed the Jolene thing this week a lot. It
was nice to be presented with a positive vision of what a campaign could
be on another planet.

todd music oh music um ok they gave the new Raymond Brake ep 5 stars and
is anyone interested in that x-cheerleaders thing at Duke on Saturday
