you honorable mayor sir, it would please me to no end, would that i write-in
your name for soil and water conservation district supervisor. that is,
assuming we share districts, which, pardon me if i am wrong, which i usually
am, but i believe, run along county lines.
but i wish to alert you, before you get too far along in this last week
campaign sweep, to north carolina general statue 163-123, which provides
for a qualification process through which write-in candidates must submit
themselves before votes will be counted in their favor by the board of
elections. the closing date of this process for the upcoming election has
since, i am unhappy to report, unfortunately passed.
o. well.
but it was a nice thought that i was seriously considering, voting for you,
that is, whatever the seriousness of your declaration of candidacy. now
that the glitter of lucrative careers in the music industry is wearing thin
for the members of pine state, and as you, riser, et al. set sights on
constructing a bigger and better political machinery, i look forward to
many afternoons of free bbq.
