Project Summary

home

  Ah, the summary...

Well, there will certainly be some interesting things written and discussed in this section. However, since I am still analyzing the data, and still working on the home page (and since the assignment still isn't due for a few more precious days!!!), I am not as of yet prepared to offer my conclusions. I will say, at least for the moment, that the activities and accomplishments of J-school grad students are sorely under-represented on the World Wide Web at the present time. Schools of journalism (especially fully accredited schools!) should be savvy enough to realize the overall value in promoting the efforts of their students on the Web. After all, what better selling point could there be than information for prospective students (and prospective contributors!) on the success and interaction of current graduate students?

Let's hope this project is the start of a revolution in the representation of J-school graduate students on the WWW. (Hey fellow grad students, this means you, too, need to get on the ball and let your voice be heard!!!
