How We Did It
Workshop Session #3

During this last workshop, families first reviewed what the essentials were for their pages.

Then they spent a while working on designs of the pages on large paper. Families placed pictures, text, and other items they wanted on these pages.

Finally, we celebrated with pizza and project t-shirts.

A father and son make decisions
about where pictures and images
should be placed on their pages.

Another mom and some daughters
work to finish their page designs.

We even used the hallway
so that families could spread out!

The wall was a useful place to put white sheets
showing how the pages should be designed.

We wanted to families to put whatever they felt like on their pages. We spent a lot of time letting kids and parents talk about their lives and experiences. They draw from all aspects of their lives for their web site here.

Notice how different the pages are from parents and kids and each different family.

Take a look at the pages and see what you think!
