Fu enter the comic world in 1976, which was the sprouting time of the Hong Kong comic book industry. Fu was not too satisfied for only being a low-level assistance and thus he left the comic circle and became a oil-painting trainee. However, deep inside his mind, he still love drawing comic. Six month later, he turned back.
His first work is "Small Thief" which was publish in "Hei Po" (a newspaper). He first comic booklet was "Siu Lum Kei Ping" which was published in 1984.
"Siu Lum Kei Ping" was never a big success. Fu felt a lot of restriction and pressure in his company and therefore he left his company and joined "Kwong's Publication".
In the beginning, Fu was only responsible for some "backstage" work and did not really involved much in the drawing. Later on, he starts to draw some of the ghost story. However, he is still waiting for some chance.
In 1986, his life changed as he join "Freeman". His most famous works is "Doo Kim Siu" (Knife, Sword, Smile).
