Technorati…Public Utility?

Out here in the San Frandisco off of Fillmore Street, and I caught this article…

Check out Adam Peneberg’s article on Technorati today on WiredNews, which reports how much of an influence Technorati has upon real-time media. Peneberg makes a good point that Technorati has become a different type of search engine…as seen with the London Bombings.

Because it only takes seven minutes to post, where Google takes a “static” point of view as the world’s largest reference library research tool. Should Technorati be seen as a new public utility for searching?

I hope so…Let’s see if they can break the $300 mark…;)
