But you have heard of the content of reactor cores being dropped on an
enemy. Where do you think enriched uranium and plutonium come from?

What is it about the plutonium created in a light-water power reactor
that makes you think that it can not be used to make weapons?

Who holds such an opinion? It is wrong.

The problem exists on two scales. Night generation, which is not
possible for PV, and daylight fluctuations caused by clouds. The first
problem can be solved in a variety of ways. Alternate methods of
generation can be used, energy can be stored from the daylight hours,
large reflectors can be used to provide nighttime lighting, etc.

The second problem has the same solutions but can also be reduced by
distributing the generation sites geographically.

How can this possibly be stated unless the method of storage is known?
Perhaps it will be superconducting coils... Perhaps it will be hydrogen
or syngas. Perhaps it will just be stored as heat.

They are, and they can not be answered until there are some large
scale projects constructed.
