I have come across a couple fruit species that I have never heard of and
would appreciate anyone with information about any of the following,
particularly in regard to eating quality and cultivation requirements:
Azanza garckeana (snot apple)
Erythrina latissima (lucky bean)
Seminole
Bunchosia
Sapodilla
Seagrape

I am especially curious about the snot apple, a fruit that sounds as if
it belongs in alt.tasteless. Was it nicknamed for its texture, its flavor, or
what?

Thanks for any info anyone can provide.
