===================
PR stuff =)
===================
Are you as tired as I am of those ever lasting sky high phone bills?
Do you just wish that you had a program that logged your online time, so
that you don't get as surprised as you always gets when the bill comes?

Haven't you heard yourself saying..
"Oh my god! Have I've been online that much??" just too many times?

Well, put an end to it by using gnome-ppp_logger.

INSTALLATION
============

For installation instructions, see the INSTALL file.

==========
USAGE
==========

A neat little trick to adapt this program to the X environment is to
create a shortcut on the desktop which starts the program, be sure to check the
"start in terminal" checkbox.

After the hopefully successful compilation and installation you
simply run 'gppp_logger' from your console to start the program. Choose
alternative '1' to connect to the Internet with gnome-ppp. When you have finished
your business on the Internet, simply disconnect as usual.
Upon disconnection you will automatically return to the menu, and the amount
of wasted(?) time will be displayed and saved.

To read your log, choose option '2'.

To erase the log (Perhaps you want to do that every month (after saving it)) choose option 3.

In order to save your log choose option '4', that will create the file /usr/local/gnome-ppp_logger/online.log.save
this is a good thing to do every month or so, to keep track of the amount of time you have spent online.

COMPABILITY & REQUIREMENTS
==========================

This program is coded and tested under a Linux Slackware 8.0
with GNU glibc-2.2.3. It will probably run on most Linux systems.
And it is not a high performance program either, so no supercomputer
is need either. Of course gnome-ppp is needed. Hopefully you had already
understood that.

All it requires is that gnome-ppp is properly installed and that it is in your path,
usually /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-ppp. A normal c++ compiler is required as well.. and chances
are good that you have one if you are on a *NIX system. Though I haven't tried them all.
If you experience any problems under your system.
Please mail me (alfons@sverige.com) and let me know. Bug reports is what
makes Linux development progressing!

=============
GENERAL INFO.
=============

This program is released under the GNU GPL license. For more info about
that, see the gpl.txt or the source.

But feel free to take code and do whatever you want with it, just as long as my name is
mentioned in the source.
