This barbeque sauce is based on a recipe my mother got from a friend.
Place in a food processor and blend into mush:
- 1 medium onion
- 3-7 cloves garlic
- (1 or 2 inches fresh ginger root)
Add to this and blend to hell:
- 2 tbs. olive or sesame oil
- 1 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tbs. tomato paste
- 2 or more tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- ground cayanne pepper to taste
- (1 to 1-1/2 tbs. lemon juice)
- 2 tbs. cider vinegar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- salt to taste (depending on the tomato sauce it may need none)
- (1 tbs. wostershire sauce)
- (1 tbs. ground cummin)
Place the chicken in the sauce and let marrinade for at least an hour. Grill until
chicken is cooked, basing with sauce as you turn it.
