By the debate's conclusion, voters have clearly decided to adopt a second factor in their judgment about candidates. A second dimension is represented by the second green axis. Blue's new issue factor makes the two candidates seem farther apart on the issues and it does the same for voters. In this new arrangement, though, candidate Blue is now closer to more voters, many of whom were former Red voters. The slanted purple line divides the voters in terms of which are closer to which candidate. Now, Blue has 10 votes and Red has only 6.
