Modeling Inputs: Examples

Ultimately, we will be using the following equation to model a system, such as the flushing of a lake:

We use this equation under several assumptions, such as the assumption that the lake is well-mixed. We will use the above equation to find solutions for problems which use those assumptions.

If you are not clear on how such an equation is derived, go to the section on modeling. Otherwise, continue and we will give you a tutorial on using this module by demonstrating with an example problem.
