You are perfectly correct.  Sorry for my error.

I am interested in "Cherry Plums" as defined here;


"Most of the original cherry-plums were produced by crossing
sandcherry (Prunus besseyi) with the Japanese plum (Prunus
salicina). Later varieties were also produced on open
pollinated cherry-plums and by crossing cherry-plums with
other cherry- plums."

Varieties: Opata ,Sapa, Oka, Alace, Beta, Convoy,Dura,
Heaver, Manor, Mistawasis, Prolific ,Sapalta, Skinner's
Favourite, Wessex, Compass, Copper, Manson, Mordena,
Hiawatha, Sacagawea, Manorette, and Eileen.

I would just like to try this early fruiting, small plum.
