[nafex] Medicinal properties of JAMUN - Syzyzium cumunii.
Dear list members,
I am sending herewith a small write up on the medicinal uses of a lesser known fruit called JAMUN in India. In this list we mostly talk about the horticultural aspects of fruits. There has not been any mail so far during the past two years about the medicinal uses.
The write-up is being sent as a MS WORD attachment as I wrote it in MS WORD. You may open it without any fear of computer virus.
I WANT TO KNOW YOUR REACTION ON IT. SO PLEASE DO WRITE ME YOUR OPINION. IF THE RESPONSE IS POSITIVE, I SHALL CONTINUE WRITING.
I worked on wild growing and lesser known fruits during the most part of my research career of 35 years. From 1992 I started working for pharmaceutical companies and then I also started reading about the medicinal uses of fruit and other plants which do not fall strictly under the category of medicinal plants and collected this type of information.
Medicinal properties of the fruits that are native of the Indian subcontinent have been given Ayurvedic and some other treatises. I have gathered this information from such sources.
If some of you require more information about these fruits, please write me.
PLEASE DO WRITE ME YOUR OPINION.
