Worm castings are just a more 'worm-refined'
material than vermi-compost. Castings are what actually come out of the back end
of the worm.
Vermi-compost, according to The Worm Book,
by Loren Nancarrow and Janet Hogan Taylor, is "a mixture of castings and
bacterially composted bedding and food".
In other words, the worms are making the castings,
but there are also other microbial activities taking place that degrade the
material as well.
Both are good, but castings are the best. And
remember, what goes in is what comes out. Quality worm castings begin with
quality ingredients in the worm bed. It is not a given that all worm
castings are rich in their nutritional content for the plant or their microbial
quality for the soil.

Do you mean vermicompost or
vermicastings....there is a difference, as I am sure you know, but others may
not....
