Mike,
In my opinion, we should leave the forest soil where it
is. There are plenty of ways to grow fungi in AACT without harvesting old
growth forest soil. It may not seem like much when one person
takes some but it will impact the forest ecosystem significantly if
everyone starts doing it.

Bacteria Biomass
Russell, Thanks for the info. In my opinion the soil
with fungi in it from the old growth Forrest is the inoculum for that
fantastic fungi. Great result, looks like you are on the way to solving the
mastitis problem with your cows (I presume you are spraying out on the
pastures), it may take some time but do let us know how you
progress. Regards Mike Harvey.
