Compost tea helps solve some of the problems that allows noxious weeds to get established. Too much nitrate in the soil, for example. Put a good fungal tea down and things like thistle are not supposed to be able to get an easy start.
You have to let us know how your tests prove out!

We are trying to tackle a bindweed problem in an area of the park- After cutting down all the weeds we’re going to apply a fungal tea –the same recipe you suggested for powdery mildew – any thoughts on how often tea should be applied to get results? The area is planted with Rugosa Roses, White Oaks and Junipers. The Bindweed has taken over along with some other weeds – Mugwort, Galinsoga and an occasional Thistle. SFW tests from last year showed good and above ranges in both the bacterial and fungal biomass (active and total) . Thanks for any other suggestions ........
