[compost_tea] Re: New Member In Oklahoma

Hi Steve,

Yes, I am very familiar with rotational grazing as well as rotation
of crops. Being that I use my bovine for breeding and not for
fattening for slaughter, I have a good plan in effect.
Unfortunately, ranching and farming isn't easy (I grew up on a farm
until age 15). In 1998 I sustained a heart attack and had to slow
down. I hated it. So I opted to keep just a few choice heffers and
my Bull. It works for me. lol.

This year, my hay baler told me I would only get at the most 350
bales of hay on my 15 acres that I get mowed and baled. (I have a
small place.....22+ acres) Would you believe thru my "teas" I got
over 600 square bales this year? Kept some for my bovine for the
winter and sold the rest. Not bad for an old woman. <weg>

Thanks for the info. I'll check into it. (oh, is this the same Betsy
Ross that sewed the American flag? j/k...hehehehehe)

it's most basic is a decision-making framework, used in all aspects
of life, though first used in ranch management. In grazing, cattle
are moved through a system of small paddocks, mimicing how the
buffalo might have moved over the original grassland prairies. I know
of two ranchers using AACT in their grassland management here in
Texas, but don't have any personal or observed anecdotes
