Fish meal and Fish Hydrolysate, as sold publicly, are different. Typically=
, Fish emulsion is made when the fish meal is removed. The fish meal is th=
e protein portion of the fish stuff. The process used for separating the tw=
o (180 degree F heat) removes a lot of beneficial components that are found=
 in the hydrolysate. There is typically not a ratio or conversion for repl=
acement. I am sure that there are other products or combination of products=
 that have the same beneficial characteristics.

There are many places on the internet to locate basic chemical components o=
f hydrolysate but the additional microbes and organisms that are utilized i=
n the process of turning it into gurry (the fermenting slurry)are almost im=
possible to substitute.
