Subject: [compost_tea] My relationship with Jeff lowenfels.

I met Jeff over 15 years ago, when he was president of the Yukon company ( =
I forgot the exact name of the company) On many occasions he would be in a =
tantrum, usually toward BP for their shutdown of of natural gas for domesti=
c use.
He was also the president of the national gardeners writers association tha=
t published recommendations for gardening in the USA.
At some time between 1995 or 1996,he organized a group of at least 200 to v=
isit my garden. Some said (including many foreigners) that I had over worke=
d the soil and it would dead in less than 5 years. Sorry, but I proved them=
 wrong as Guinness records report.
At a later period, sometime around 2000, a great friend of mine, Dick Stahl=
, recruited Jeff Lowenfels in order to promote Alaska Humus. Jeff stole tha=
t name!!!
Going back to the 90's. There was a front page photo of Jeff in the Anchora=
ge Daily News that he had turned his back on chemical fertilizers.
Prior to that article. Jeff called me virtually every single day to gain in=
formation on microbiology.
What can I say! The truth always comes out in the end!
Regards to you wonderful searchers.
I live it first hand.
John
