[compost_tea] oops -- Monsanto
Just home from work, hot, tired; should not be sending
emails without diligently checking to see if I selected the
right "sendee".
The last post was in response to a friend who mentioned
just seeing how round-up is now spawning super bugs
which have developed resistance to round up. (And other
pesticides as well? Not sure on that one, have not done
any surfing and research yet.)
While not directed to this forum, it is somewhat relevant.
With
so drift onto your property from those who do use it
in your vicinity and the possibility of getting residues
in composts or other bought materials, it does make the
case for the continual use for compost tea applications
to renew and sustain levels of microbial populations.
And possibly indicates the need to find specific
biological controls to deal with the super bugs now
developing.
At any rate, I apologize for sending a personal email
to the forum.
