Is it possible that a full moon at night induces a different photocycle? I =
know from experience that outdoor house lights can revert nearby plants bac=
k to a vegetative state, so the big question here is whether the plant's gr=
owth phase (i.e., flowering hormones) affects stomata function. If so, the =
issue becomes the plant's sensitivity to light at night. Does anyone have e=
xperience of periodic interruption of the photocycle?

Tidal forces are real and translate into objects weighing slightly less dur=
ing high tide. However, the tides follow the moon and as such are not depen=
dent on the moon's illumination, since both a full and a new moon cause the=
spring tide. Now, illumination might be an issue, but not in terms of tida=
l forces. In my opinion, the moon cycle, if it matters at all, has to be a =
factor of illumination.
