I don't think we would be wise to reject Graeme Saits article out of hand without some trials of our own.
I have been concerned for some time regarding .pH of my brews. My water at the start tests at 6.3 which then rises over 7.0 just before spraying. As my soil tests out at 7.8 I am trying to find a method of reducing my final brew .pH.
Other points, my lack of fungi. Try as I might using all the suggestions from this forum my microscope doesn't see a growth of fungi, and nematodes are a complete mystery, having only seen one in 3 years.
Perhaps I will try Graeme's ideas.
