RIght, Tim. The key thing is the components are not plant available, whatev=
er compost and compost tea has, until the microbes turn them from organic m=
olecules into an inorganic ion. The concept behind ACT is to strip out fung=
i and bacteria from the compost crumb, not the plant essential nutrients.

This is why ACT is only one of the components of an organic system of growi=
ng. You do need a source of those plant nutrients. Compost does have most, =
if not all, of them.
