[compost_tea] Re: vortex tea brewer
These references to the Texas Tee-Off don't
amount to a hill of beans if you ask me.
I've spoken with several brewers who were
there and the comparison standards ended
up leaving a bad taste in people's mouth.
One of the wily participants went out and
got some pond water for their brew while
the others used city water without a proper
degassification period, since it was held
in a hotel conference center, etc.
Since then, nearly all of those brewers
have evolved, recipes and methods have
changed, etc
You might as well spend your money on
a bowl of cornbread and beans as to spend
time comparing results from the Texas Tee-Off.
My tea machine wasn't there because I was
out on a ranch bringing in a truckload of
40-lb cantaloupes with a Brix of 32, grown
with my famous High Plains Compost Tea
Brewer. :-)
