You have to have phytosanitary documents in order to get the compst into Canada. That means, you have to go through all kinds of hoops to prove no disease.

It might not be that difficult to do, but you would have to sell a significant amount of compostinto Canada to make the cost of doing the testing worthwhile.

You might just want to e-mail the up-and-coming SFI lab director in Canada, and see if he knows some good compost sources in Canada. I believe there is good compost made in BC.
