RES: [compost_tea] Humic Acid

I want to point out to the fact that I have analized some
of those soluble humates and they do not have what
they claim to have .
Humisolve-Usa for instance has only 50% soluble humates
and leaves a heavy unsoluble slurry that is a nightmare for
someone dealing with nozzles.
I am presently analysing almost all soluble humates from
USA and Canada to evaluate solubility and Humic and fulvic acid
contents.
Since I would be brewing a tea and using such small quantities I
would use something like those 100% soluble humates from
Black Hearth ( Canada), Terravita, etc...
Unfortunately Humisolve does not have a 100% soluble product.

My experience with using humic acid is that the soluble dry products
(such
as Gumat, Humisolve etc) are more active and effective than the liquids.
I
assumed Elaine was referring to the lower priced bulk humates (composted
brown coal etc)
