Was this group set up in response to the CTIA ? seems peculiar to me that
they both popped up around the same time.

I support the idea of having an UNBIASED information source.
I often refer people to ATTRA (not just compost tea inquiries)

http://attra.ncat.org/

which seems to do good research and is half NGO.

The ICTC site is having some tech problems but by the little I did see it
appears to be some serious advertising for the founding members. This is
not representative of a democratic group intended to rep the movement. I
also really whince at a price structure which is tiered and seems to imply
that there will be better "coverage/represention" for large corp. members.

A true industry group should :
1. have elections
2. be accountable to and representative of the membership
3. be staffed by volunteers therefore require very little funding
4. have a level membership fee with perhaps a reduction for students

So is either ICTC or CTIA an industry group genuiley there to represent
stakeholders ? If so I'd be pleased to join, suggested membership fee $25.
This is inline with the other similar groups I belong to.
