If you keep the organisms in warm conditions, with good moisture (50%), and
don't let contaminants get into it, compost should remain good for up to 2
years. Add foods to the compost, and you keep the organisms happy and
growing.

Do what Jeff said to do - but the kelp and fish go in the tea. The AH is a
great inoculum of fungi, but also get some good fungi close from home. A
handful of forest duff, WITH fungi as visible strands (not fluff, strands)
added in makes things just that much better.
