IMO there are always "bottom-feeders" in society.
Without mentioning the name of any particular machine, (and I have no
experience of any of them) some will be better than others and some will
be pathetic (look at cars).
Same with growing methods; we can research and find the ones we prefer.
Personally, I think we got the message about this one, lets drop it and
move on. We've done a good job of letting the makers/marketers know
that they are doing a disservice to their customers (even if some of the
customers are happy enough at the moment).
Lets just focus on what makes good CT, how to disseminate the info
(educate those that want to know), experiment and innovate.
