I think you're missing the point. I never said air bubbles won't
work.
You want to know a better way?
Instead of connecting a bubbler to the end of the air supply,
connect it 1/4 inch plastic pipe near the bottom and run it a foot
above the surface of the water. Have the water cascade down or
connect to a loop structure to diffuse. The air pressure will lift
the water up the column with no chewing up of microbes like a motor
will. Just a different design using the same exact pump.
If you think the bubbler method is better, then stick to that.
