Good point, Tom. I am pretty sure, however, that the folks at SFI or at lo=
ts of universities could identify the "Santa Claus" fungi and I have matche=
d it, as far as I can to one of the pics the site Dr. E sent with the compo=
st/fungi...I mean to take some over to the University here and will do so I=
 have not been scientific!

This all started as a quest to find a way to see if fungi existed in compos=
t because if it isn't in your compost, you are not going to get it in your =
tea. We know if you can get the long white fuzzies, you have fungi that pr=
oduces good teas in the SFI testing sense. We know malts, baby oatmeal, kel=
p, the bloodmeal, feathermeal and bonemeal mix all are suficient additivies=
 to get fungal growth in compost.

We can argue about molds aside.
