[compost_tea] DI water same as RO water?

Hello Group,

I should know this, but can anyone tell me if it is a good or bad idea to use deionized water for making compost tea? The worm gold extractor has a RO (reverse osmosis) filter on it and George Hahn has stated that his brews are much better with the RO unit water. Is the water he is using deionized? I know drinking deionized water is bad for people, but what about for compost tea?

Thanks
Matt
