[compost_tea] Re: CT Strawberries?

If you go to the SANET archives, you can follow
the series of posts I put together that summarize
alternatives to methyl bromide and strawberry
production. Of special interest is the very last
post, from May 2, 2001, which explains Elaine
Ingham's significant and interesting contribution.

methyl bromide + strawberry + alternative control
+ compost + CMC compost + soil foodweb + rhizosphere
+ mycorrhizal inoculation + strawberry plugs +
fungal-dominated woodland berry plants + Frank Sances
+ Elaine Ingham.

Together, they tell the big story. Just add compost
tea to the picture and you get the idea how it works.

No reason to re-gurgitate all this, either. No
reason to wonder if CT's work, either. Just do
it along your humus management practices.

CT comes in as a supplement to what you start
with in the plug mix... well humified compost
and mycorrhizal inoculant... or what you
incorporate into the strawberry bed.
