Matt,
Last season one of my clients used CT in vines very effectively, are you ab=
le to share the recipe that you are proposing to use? The CT we used was fu=
ngal dominated and used Humic acid/fulvic acid, kelp, malt extract and a sm=
all amount of fish emulsion.
It is very important to get good coverage on the flowers and the fruit, a s=
ticker wetter is critical, we used Nu film 17 and got good results. Botryti=
s infection occurs at cap fall when the stamens fall off they leave a scar =
area where botrytis infection can occur, thus effective coverage of the flo=
wers at this point is critical.
We used CT up until 2 weeks before harvest, however there was a negative in=
that the Humic acid we used left a residue that did not look good, next ti=
me we will consider using more fulvic acid and less humics in the CT to red=
uce the dark coloration of the CT.
Wine has been made from the grapes with good results so far, no negative ef=
fects from the microorganisms in the CT.
Quality was high in shiraz and cabernet grapes despite a difficult season.

  Jeff,

We are doing an experiment on wine grapes, similar to Elaine's, but in th=
e humid Mid-Atlantic region. I was provided with a recipe for tea from Pau=
l Wagner who suggested the sticker Nu-Film P. We are trying to avoid that =
stuff, because its so sticky and somewhat difficult to work with.

BTW- have you checked out the www.newfarm.org CT forum yet? Any thoughts=
?

  Thanks,

  Matt

    Matthew,

Gee, I've never had any problem having my teas stick to surfaces nor of=
folks up here using stickers. The bacteria and Fungi do a pretty good job =
without stickers or adjuvants.

Why do you think you need them? What application?

    Cheers,

    Jeff L
