Subject: Re: [compost_tea] Heat and
tea
I was thinking about using a tankless hot water heater
although it would be expensive for me ($300 - $500). Might make more
sense for those selling tea year-round. I need to replace a hot water
heater for making calf milk replacer, so it might do it
anyway.
This page has many of them listed in one place with
their prices.
I agree with Lloyd, that if you can get the water
warm, it will take awhile for it too cool... hopefully longer than the brew
cycle. Perhaps it would be good for the temps to change a
little over the brew cycle so not only the microbes at the preset
temp will be happy...???
What is the desired temperature range for
tea?
