Would a cattle water tank heater work for warming the water? These would be available from the local ag stores or ag catalogs.

I was thinking about using a tankless hot water heater although it would be expensive for me ($300 - $500). Might make more sense for those selling tea year-round. I need to replace a hot water heater for making calf milk replacer, so it might do it anyway.

I agree with Lloyd, that if you can get the water warm, it will take awhile for it too cool... hopefully longer than the brew cycle. Perhaps it would be good for the temps to change a little over the brew cycle so not only the microbes at the preset temp will be happy...???
 
What is the desired temperature range for tea?
