Wow, this evoked a great set of memories! It was perhaps eleven years ago we first experimented with Mycostop. At that time the labeling only covered greenhouse use. I found the product while reading about some isolates used for diseases in oil palms. These isolates were experimented with by Kemira, the Norwegian company that produces Mycostop. I know you weren’t asking for a story, but I couldn’t help but flash back to those earliest days of our search for biorational alternatives…..

 

I have experienced successes with Mycostop as has every greenhouse grower I have talked to who has used the product. None of us have directly compared Mycostop to CT. It is my unscientific opinion we have controlled the same diseases Mycostop is labeled for every bit as effectively with our bacterial teas.

is this usually present in CT ? or do you test for it ?
If we wanted to encourage this fungi does it have special likes and needs ?
