[compost_tea] Micronized Compost

Hi Folks,

I am a little behind as I was travelling again.
Micronization either way would destroy microbial life
specially the bigger sized organisms like nematodes and
protozoa. I don´t think that there is any way of micronizing
a compost that will preserve microbial life.
Dr Elaine also found low counts for bacteria and fungi so
the only time you really need micronized compost is if you
have to apply carbon thru irrigation pipeline. Micronized
compost manufacturers claims that the compost will be immediately
recolonized which is partially true but you will loose the numbers
either species and/or individuals anyway.
There is application for micronized compost ? Yes but if you can
apply regular compost the cost X benefit is greater .

What about adding microbial innoculant for compost into the brew.
Would that have any effect in adding back organisms or should it be
reserved just for the compost pile?
