I had a long conversation with some water filtration filter engineers today and they indicated that filters had specific parameters for necessary contact time with the carbon media. We have experienced filter failure and are engineering a filter guaranteed to remove chlorine absolutely. I will present a prototype next week and the finished unit soon after.

It might be important to get the little pool testing kits to check your chlorine after degassing your water.  Just make sure!
