RES: [compost_tea] Good News?

Well said.

This is the problem with most people dealing with Biological

Control they are still looking for the biological “silver bullet”.

It is the same mind set of the chemical industry applied to

biology.

They have never thought about improving plant nutrition as a

way to reduce pest attack.

Hi Russ and group -

The Stoneville, Miss Biological Control group has been around for a long time.  All that is happening is that they are building a new lab for the groupDon't expect anything except the same old, same old from them

This group has a single-species orientation, basically with the mind-set that for each pest, there is a control species.  I have always thought of this as the toxic chemical mind-set

Have diseaseApply this chemicalOr from this group, apply this one bacterial control speciesSigh

There should be so much more that this group does, but they are still in chemical mindsetNew labWill that change the set of blinders they have on their minds?
We could all wish that it would, but I don't hold out much hope.
