[compost_tea] Re: pre-inoculating

Well I've finally got some Alaska Humus pre-inoculated and growing. Some of
you might remember that I had a box of AH spend a month in the mail,
somewhere, and arrived with "Inspected by customs" tape all over it. I
made tea with this and it tested very low on fungal.

So I ordered more.

I started one culture from each box adding only baby oatmeal and water.

Pictures of the results are posted in my Tea-riffic picture album on the
Yahoo compost tea site.

The AH with oatmeal has long white feathery fungi. The AH CC (Canada
Customs) is harder to see but it has whitish grey fungi, much shorter and
something that I can only describe as green mold - but it's also sprouted a
few seeds so at least it's not deadly.
I will only brew and test the one without sprouts :-)
