Jose, I can write in tiny print, too, but it is
hard to read.
In my own tests and those conducted by John Evans,
we've tried multiple nutrients to start fungi growth. In as much as we are of
the opinion that we want nice white, fluffy mycelium, the results come in best
with one or perhaps two additives--more fluffy white throughout the compost.
Multiple foods create less fluffy white, more colorful molds, and different ones
depending on the nutrient (which makes me wonder if the molds don't come in with
the food source???). Single source has uniform, great growth. For
that reason alone, you don't need to use multiple foods. Hey, if you want to, go
right ahead. It is overkill. If you read the messages of a while back you
will see I said it then. If you don't agree, that is fine.
Cheers,
jeff
