[compost_tea] FLAMING & What's Worthy - USNOP Update

I guess I got messages out of order or I didn't get everything posted or
it's something else I missed. I see some good argument going on here, maybe
overly personal sometimes, but not FLAMING. I go on, love the perspectives
and appreciate the insight of jibes, as Jeff and Jose have suggested,
personally.

USNOP (the US National Organic Program, a USDA-run thing) is more worthy of
our flames, perhaps expressed more politely. Did you know they still say
compost tea is "raw manure?" That's something to flame about, imo.

The last week in February, the NOSB finally moved to establish a new compost
tea task force, likely due to congressional inquiries from us. So far, as
far as I know, nobody on this list serve has heard from them except to say
there is supposed to be a new task force. This does not make sense to the
extent that this listserve is likely the largest group of CT users ever
assembled.
Have you heard anything else? Please reply off-list if you prefer. I'm
doing the best I can at tracking this stuff.

If you know a USDA agent please ask them about the new NOP compost tea task
force and tell them what you think, too. Less flame is likely better, but
flaming may be necessary. If you have a US Congress contact, please talk to
them about making sure CT users and scientists like Doc E are included on
the new task force.
