Re: [compost_tea] SFI Testing

You can put compost tea to sleep.  But in doing so, you lose perhaps 50% of the species of bacteria (not 50% of the individuals, but 50% of the species).

So, fresh made tea gives you benefits you cannot get from put-to-sleep tea.

But a put-to-sleep tea is much better than an inoculum containing just a few species of bacteria.

And a few bacterial species, especially very beneficial ones, is much better than not having those species in your soil at all.

It's all relative.
