[compost_tea] Diversity of fungi in tea made from compost first amended with nutrients?
Elaine,
You have stated that you are able to determine that the fungi that
Jeff L. has grown in compost that is amended with humic acid and baby
oatmeal or soybean meal, etc. is beneficial because of hyphal diameter
(and it is made up of long white strands). Do you know anything about
the diversity? Is it just one type of fungi, or several types? When it
is added to the tea, as Jeff has done, and he has reported very high
fungal numbers, are those likely because of just one type of fungi, or
is there the diversity that we are wanting?
Thanks,
Autumn
